Tuesday, Indian Stock Market Nifty SENSEX opened in bearish note. CNX Nifty
today opened at 5,930.80 and 30 Share Exchange SENSEX opened at 19,788.09. At
11:40 am BSE SENSEX was at 19,751.95 down by 282.53 points or 1.41%, while
National Stock Exchange Nifty was at 5,933.55 down by 97.25 points or 1.61%.
Indian Rupee
jumped over 1 percent on Tuesday after Reserve Bank o India hiked short term
rates late on Monday in the first strong measure to support the currency. Today
Rupee opened at 59.20 surges by 69 paise and its previous closed on Monday was
59.89.nat 11:40 am Rupee was at 59.43 against US dollar.
