Monday 19/08/2013, The first trading day of the week, the rupee has reached record lows. Today it opened at 62.35 slip by 70 paise and its previous closed on next week was 61.65. The partially convertible rupee dropped over 1 percent to hits a record low of 62.45 break the previous low of 62.03 hits on Friday.

19 August 2013 Nifty SENSEX opened in bearish note, National Stock Exchange NSE
Nifty opened at 5,497.55 and BSE index SENSEX opened at 18,587.38. At 10:56 am SENSEX slip more than 200 points and traded at 18,381.09, while Nifty moving towards 5,400 levels at 5,432.00. CNX Nifty today also hits 11 month low.
